APERicerca Returns to London on 27th February – Science, Laughter & Networking!

We are teaming up with LA SCIENZA COATTA and THE DIVINE COMEDY CLUB for a one-of-a-kind evening of science, stand-up, and aperitivo! This event is open to all Italian early career researchers, science professionals, and curious minds.

What to Expect:
• The Divine Comedy Talks – A mix of stand-up comedy and research! Our guest early-career scientists AND comedians will share their projects, discoveries, and London-life struggles in short, interactive “mock presentations”.
• Meme Slideshow – The Italian science outreach project LA SCIENZA COATTA will present a decade’s worth of their funniest, most brutally honest science memes. Expect laughs, inside jokes, and painful truths.
• Networking Opportunities – Meet like-minded researchers, exchange ideas, and maybe even find your next collaborator (or just someone to rant about grant applications with).
• Italian Aperitivo – Each ticket includes a glass of wine or beer, because great ideas flow better with a drink. More drinks available for just £3!
• A Historic Venue – Casa Italiana S. V. Pallotti, a beloved Italian social club in London’s Little Italy, has been bringing people together since 1960.
