SRUK/CERU is looking for a freelance project manager to drive the successful delivery of the project CONNECTS-UK (CONNecting European Communities Through Science in UK), the first pan-EU platform in the UK aimed at fostering scientific collaborations between the EU and the UK. This project is currently led by a network of 8 associations of European researchers in the UK, including AISUK.

The role holder will manage, coordinate, develop and advise on all project aspects such as planning, reporting, finance or budget, recruitment and procurement to execute the project's strategic vision. The role will develop and manage relationships with existing and new network members, seek to establish strategic external partnerships that benefit the network, foster successful collaborations and support staff.

The project manager will have primary responsibility for ensuring that all the necessary support is in place to maintain and expand the network, undertake research, provide science-policy advice, and communicate science to younger audiences. Flexible working hours and the IT equipment included.
